With the first two hours free and direct access to The Market Pavilion, Aldi, Coles and Woolworths, it’s never been easier to cross off your to-do list.

Staying longer than two hours? With our ticketless parking system, you can pay for additional parking at the paystations or upon exit – no need for a ticket.

Chadstone is committed to providing visitors free car parking for the majority of our parking spaces. On weekends, about 90 per cent of the 11,000 available parking spaces are free.

Based on customer feedback, we have implemented a number of different premium services such as valet parking and premium short-stay spots. We are providing convenient Fresh Food Parking where the first 2 hours are free within distinct areas of Car Park C and Car Park E. This is to ensure more parking spaces become available, in more convenient locations for those visitors wanting to do a speedy grocery shop, visiting a pharmacy or a bank, or visitors to The Market Pavilion.

Is the Fresh Food Parking charged at half hourly or hourly intervals and will the prices increase on weekends and public holidays?

The rates are charged at half hourly intervals for weekdays and during weekends and peak trading days they are charged at hourly rates. The rates vary between weekdays, weekends and public holidays.

Will the Fresh Food Parking be free/complimentary if I spend a certain amount at Chadstone?

There is no discount for spend associated with the Fresh Food Parking, however the first two hours are free.  For a longer stay, free parking is available in all other car parks.

Will there be any flat rate after certain hours in the Fresh Food Parking zone?

Will a ticket be issued as you enter or is this automatic using number plate recognition, and you pay by credit card as you leave?

The Fresh Food Parking system is ticketless as it uses license plate recognition. You can pay for parking at a pay station before getting in your car. Tap and pay is also available upon exit.

Is this really a trial for the first 2 hours but will turn out to be round-the-clock paid parking?

Chadstone remains committed to providing visitors free car parking for the majority of our parking spaces. On weekends, about 90 per cent of the 11,000 available parking spaces are free.

The introduction of dedicated paid Fresh Food Parking is to ensure more parking spaces become available, in more convenient locations for those visitors wanting to do a quick grocery shop, visit a pharmacy or a bank, or explore The Market Pavilion.

Will the Fresh Food Parking system accept cash?

Yes, the Fresh Food Parking system will accept cash and cashless payment. Cash will only be accepted for payment at a pay-station before getting in your car. Tap and pay is also available upon exit.

Will 90-minute spots still exist within the car park?

Yes, 90-minute express bays will be implemented in LG Car Park E. These convenient car parks will remain free.

Will there be a 10 minute ‘late’ grace period?

No, these Fresh Food Parking areas are perfect for a quick shop. For lengthier visits, free long-stay parking is available in other areas.

A person who is mobility impaired, will they be exempt or granted extra time to park in these car parks? Since they are the most convenient and on ground level to get to the Concierge Desk for mobility hire equipment?

With the Development work complete, Chadstone now offers more accessible parking bays.

New accessible parking spaces have been installed, located in Car Park F outside of the Ralph Lauren centre entrance, for those displaying an Accessible Parking Permit. This area is convenient for accessing both the heart of the centre and The Market Pavilion, entering via the dining laneway.

All car spaces within the Carpark C & E Fresh Food Parking zones incur the 2-hour free parking time restriction.
