Take a piece of history into your fashion, with these photographic swim shorts with an inspiring back story.

Monaco has always been the crown jewel of Formula 1 but the 1956 Monaco Grand Prix was a race for the history books.

Racing legend, Juan Manuel Fangio, was set for victory. However, with just 20 laps to go, mechanical issues forced him to retire. Then, in an incredible display of teamwork, his Ferrari teammate, Peter Collins, did something we would never see today. He offered his own car to Fangio. Fangio rejoined the race, finished second and later secured his fourth world championship.

This moment wasn't just about racing but knowing when to pass the wheel to win the bigger race. At Orlebar Brown we celebrate this iconic moment with our Start Your Engines swim shorts, featuring a historic image from the 1956 Monaco Grand Prix. A tribute to those who live by old school values and recognise that success is indeed a team sport – on and off the track.

Will we see another iconic moment next month at our very own Australian Grand Prix?
